This year I made a visit to the Healthy, Natural Food Fair held in Bologna in early September. A beautiful
fair, although more and more "commercial", which is an appointment to qualified professionals but is mainly an original way, nice to bring all the public, consumers, ordinary people to a healthy diet, an abundance of local produce, Italian , which are part of our tradition and featuring the famous Mediterranean diet is famous throughout the world.
One thing that struck me is just how the food, some homegrown productions are now a marketing element of the made in Italy: parmesan, parma ham, balsamic vinegar, but also processed food, tortellini, tagliatelle with meat sauce and pasta in general! These are the things that, together with unique historical and artistic beauty, foreigners know our country!
And this year I learned that 76 thousand hectares of agricultural land in Emilia Romagna are dedicated to organic farming: a new focus on natural, a return to more sustainable modes of cultivation, breeding, protection from pests, production processes, thanks to new technologies and research can bring benefits to our health.
A nice discovery, against the trend in relation to the spread of fast-food lunches at his desk, made of single pieces to suit all needs, but which leave nothing to the imagination and more and more packaging in our baskets. .
